I assume this means there is a problem with the video card or display. The little timer animation runs briefly, then stops, and the system just sits there.Īdditionally, there are 30 thick vertical lines on the screen, probably an 1/8th of an inch thick or more. Now it won’t boot up all the way it stops after showing a gray screen with an Apple logo on it. I was working with iMovie, put it into full-screen demo mode, and the display went nuts and the system locked up.
